Hi. My name is Shirin Bridges and I am an Ezra Jack Keats Award-winning author of 17 books; a “tiger editor;” a writing coach and retreat leader; a Publishers Weekly “new author to watch”—and thirteen years later, front cover feature; and founding goose of Goosebottom Books. I have taught writing and publishing at the NSW Writers’ Center in Australia, the AFCC in Singapore, the Writing Salons in San Francisco and Berkeley, and for five universities including Stanford (yes, Stanford pleases my mother most). As you will see from these pages, I am also currently in the throes of writing a novel. If you are a writer too, I hope our journeys overlap. There is a lot that we can learn together.
